In 2001 Gary went back on the road touring the United States in various rock and country bands.
Gary also began playing with a band called the “Tightners”. The members of this band were all employees of Shaw Communications in Calgary. The Tightners recorded an 8 song CD called “Magical Lady” with all proceeds going to Lymphoma research.
Gary's main project to date is a Jump Blues Band called "Dice Deluxe". Dice Deluxe record a self titled 8 song CD in the 2012 which is also available on iTunes.
From 2004-2006 Gary worked with an original rock band from calgary called SMB (Steve McQueen Band). The band recorded a 3 song EP and played in and around the calgary area opening for artists such as The Northern Pikes, Brett Michaels and David Wilcox.
Today Gary is playing in and around the Calgary area. He is focusing on playing, writing and how to apply the drums to become more of a melodic instrument. Gary strives to become a better player everyday and tries to contribute a strong creative foundation to all projects he is involved with.

Towards the end of the 90's Gary decided to leave the road and return home to Calgary. He began to play with French singing artist “Yvonne Carrier” doing shows in Edmonton and Calgary.
